The 1st African Training Program for Cooperative Housing under the theme of "Improving Managerial Skills for Cooperative Housing Junior Leaders" is to be held from the 17th - 20th of October 2022 as a side event to the 13th African Ministerial Cooperative Conference (AMCCO) and the 4th International Conference for Cooperative Housing (ICCH, 2022).
The Training program is held to qualify new junior leaders in the field of cooperative Housing in coordination with the International Cooperative Alliance- Africa(ICA- Africa ), Cooperative Housing International(CHI), the African Organization for Housing Cooperatives(AOHC). It is organized by the General Authority for Construction and Housing Cooperatives (CHC) along with the Egyptian Agency of partnership for development (EAPD) that's affiliated to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Qualifying future emerging leaders to actively participate in the cooperative housing movement to create a modern vision dealing with the global challenges and participating in achieving sustainable development in Africa.
Providing junior cooperative leaders with successful housing cooperative experiences and practices through participating in the activities of the 4th International Conference for Cooperative Housing and the accompanying exhibition to improve their skills and knowledge.
Enhancing the African social development through qualifying future emerging leaders and providing them with a multidisciplinary program covering the technical, legal, administrative, environmental and economic aspects of the cooperative housing sector in Africa.
Leveraging the trainees' core skills and capabilities through:
Encouraging partnerships with international cooperative organizations including but not limited to the Cooperative Housing International (CHI), the International Cooperative Alliance- Africa (ICA-Africa) and the African Organization for Housing Cooperatives (AOHC).
Gathering professional cooperative trainers, lecturers, scientific researchers and Cooperative leaders from all over the world through hosting the 13th Africa Ministerial Cooperative Conference (AMCCO) & the 4th International Cooperative Conference for Cooperative Housing.
1- Suitable bachelor degree
2- Previous experience in the field of cooperative housing
3- age (25-35)
4- proficiency in using computer skills
5- Being a member in any cooperative housing entities in home country
